Cassie & Matt | Chicago Wedding

During wedding season, I eat sleep and breath each wedding.  From getting to know new couples, working with them through engagement sessions, all the prep leading up to the wedding, the crazy, love and chaos the actual day entails and then the weeks and weeks and weeks of previews, culling, editing, delivering (!!!) One wedding ends up being A LOT of work.  Then wash, rinse, repeat because...well, busy season.  So one of my absolute favorite things to do is push pause on my current season and re visit weddings I've already poured my blood, sweat and tears into. Go back with a fresh set of eyes and really relive the day. I did that today.  I was feeling overwhelmed with my current work load, so I decided to take a break and go back and look through (one of my favorite) weddings.  I picked out all of my favorite photos that I feel really tell the story of their day.  Then I gave myself a pat on the back, smiled at the fond memories and reminded myself why I do this every weekend....Because I absolutely love it. That is what is so special about wedding photography.  You get to go back at any point and time and relive one of the most important days for yourself, your best friend or your family member. So over the next few months, as I create and capture new memories and continue to be a part of my 2018 couples' weddings....  I'm going to take a trip down memory lane and share even more of the beautiful, love filled weddings that I have previously captured, that I haven't yet had the opportunity to share.
